One of Canada’s most memorable Olympians will visit Fort McMurray this summer.
Catriona Le May Doan will be the guest speaker for the Wood Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame Society’s annual induction dinner on June 13.
Le May Doan won three Olympic medals in speed skating, broke 13 world records along the way, and was named Canada’s Athlete of the Year in 2002.
The society says it will announce the 2013 inductees over the coming weeks.
