Charges finally laid in Thickwood head-on crash

Charges have finally been laid in last week’s head-on crash on Thickwood Boulevard.
29-year old Tim Bland is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, and an extra charge of impaired operation over .08 causing bodily harm.
He’ll appear in court on September 5th.
39-year old Tim Murphy was seriously injured when another car hit him head-on in the early morning hours last Wednesday.
Bland later wrote a letter to local media apologizing for what happened.
