Reports say a boy who was exposed to phosphine in a Fort McMurray apartment is expected to be out of the hospital this month.

Global News says he was taken off a ventilator and moved to a recovery room.

The news comes a week after funerals for his eight-month-old sister and two-year-old brother in Edmonton.

They were exposed to phosphine after pellets were spread across their Fraser Ave. apartment to treat bedbugs.

This week, Health Canada issued a warning for unregistered products to treat the insects.
