Concerns over proposed Nexen-CNOOC bid

Some U-S congressman are concerned over the proposed Nexen-CNOOC bid.
This is because Nexen has much business south of the Canadian border.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper is concerned too….but will not take the negative signals from the U-S when he factors whether the deal is something to go ahead with or not.
Harper is concerned that the $15.1-billion deal brings up questions about policy.
The bid is still being reviewed by Industry Canada, and is expected to wrap up next week.
