The Conservative government has fulfilled an election promise, by doubling the children’s fitness tax credit.
That means Canadian families can claim a tax credit on up to 1000 dollars worth of fees associated with signing their kids up for sports and physical activities.
People will be able to make claim the increased credit for this year, when they file their taxes in the psring.
The Conservatives had made the commitment while campaigning back in 2011.
