The municipality says Gregoire’s sewer system is in bad shape on the verge of over-loading and needs to be relieved.
It says at the end of the month, it’s going to do some geotechnical drilling on the sewer system which will affect Gregoire Drive, Gregoire Trailer Park and MacLean Road.
The Engineering Department’s Adel Youssef says if they don’t do the work now, in 2 or 3 years it will start backing up, which would affect businesses and homes.
The city reminds people to obey all signage.
