While Bo Cooper continues to fight for his life while receiving experimental Car-T Cell Therapy treatment in the United-States his brothers in uniform will battle on the ice to raise funds for his cause.

Members of the Wood Buffalo RCMP and the Fort McMurray Fire Department will face off in a charity game at the Casman Centre on Saturday, Feb. 27.

“We’re encouraging everyone to come out and enjoy a good night of hockey,” said Kris Solbak one of the event organizers. “We have some outstanding hockey players on both sides that are going to be battling hard, playing hard and putting on a good show.”

There are no tickets being sold however it is entry by donation at the door.

Solbak notes there will be some giveaways during the event including a $1,500 shopping spree to Peter Pond Mall.

The doors to the Casman Centre will open at 7 p.m. in time for an 8 p.m. puck-drop.
