Council finds out cost of by-election

Wood Buffalo Council found out the price tag for the upcoming by-election last night.
It’ll cost taxpayers about 300 thousand dollars to replace councillors-turned-MLAs Mike Allen and Don Scott.
Council also voted to share the cost of the by-election with the Public School Board, as they’ll fill a vacant seat on June 25th as well.
