Council has given its final approval to putting new housing and business on the Quarry Ridge Golf Course site.

It’s re-zoned the eastern half of that site to become part of the new Gateway District.

That’ll feature large developments facing Highway 63 to make the drive into town a better-looking one.

The city estimates there’ll be more than 230 thousand square feet of commercial and retail space, almost 400 thousand square feet of offices, and 539 residential units.
