A new community centre for the Eagle Ridge area could get the go-ahead at municipal council tonight.
Councillors will vote on a proposal to spend five million dollars in 2012 towards the project.
The centre would link the new Public and Catholic schools that are set to be built in Eagle Ridge.
Tonight, council will also be asked to change the company it uses for audits, and to appoint a chair for the 2015 Western Canada Summer Games.
