Alberta Transportation closed the northbound lane of the Highway 63 while crews continue repairs on the Lac La Biche Bridge.
The province closed the the southbound lane, about 14 kilometres north of Atmore last week. That’s now reopened, but drivers going north will be using a single alternating lane over the Lac La Biche river.
A spokesperson says the work is on track to be finished by Friday.
Speed fines are doubled in the construction zone.
