A big drug bust at the Calgary Airport has a Fort McMurray connection.
Border agents found more than 150 thousand dollars worth of drugs in two separate busts this month.
The first happened when officers found 250 bundles of khat in two checked bags heading for Fort McMurray.
Khat is a plant-like stimulant, illegal in Canada and commonly chewed in east Africa.
Two men, 27 year old Umar Ahmed and 46 year old Hassan Jaleh are now facing various charges.
