Family of missing Fort Chipewyan woman files complaint with Leduc RCMP

The family of Amber Tuccaro is filing an official complaint against the Leduc RCMP.

She’s the Fort Chipewyan 20 year-old who lived in Fort McMurray and went missing in 2010 after her and her 14-month-old son were seen visiting a friend just outside of Edmonton.

According to the CBC, her family says police lessened her disappearance, and cleared her from the missing persons list after a month, even though she hadn’t been seen.

They also says police detroyed her personal property that could’ve been used as evidence.

Leduc RCMP say its policies and procedures have changed as a result of this case.
