The father of the 14 year old boy who was taken to hospital after a fight at Father Merc high school says local schools need to do more to curb violence.
He told the CBC that his son has had his jaw wired shut and has nerve damage – a 16 year old boy has been charged with assault by police.
The boy’s father also says his other sixteen-year old son was assaulted that same day at another school, and that his sons have been targetted for violence ever since the family moved from Ontario.
He says the school is trying to do damage control at the expense of his son.
