Regional Emergency Services rushed to the service road next to the Burger King in Beacon Hill to put out a garbage truck that caught fire.
“Pump five was on scene they put it out with water and foam. Main cab fire with smoke and debris in the container of the truck,” said Brad Grainger, Deputy Chief of Operations.
The call came in at 1:25 p.m. and the fire was extinguished by 1:44 p.m.
RES sent one fire truck and a water tanker to the call.
No one was injured.
