The Fort McMurray Catholic School Board has announced its new Superintendent of Schools.
Bringing 31 years of experience with local Catholic School to the job, George McGuigan will fill Kim Jenkins shoes on April 1st.
For the past 5 years he has acted as Deputy Superintendent.
He says that his goal is to maintain and build upon the tremendous reputation the schools have in the community.
Jenkins announced in November he was retiring after 32 years with the district, and later announced he will work as Keyano College VP, Corporate Services and Chief Project Officer.
