Letter and percentage grades are a thing of the past when it comes to the new Fort McMurray Public School District’s elementary school report cards.
In a release it says by using performance indicators teachers can focus on ‘how’ and ‘what’ students learn.
It says that its transparency will help parents get a clearer understanding of their childs progress when it comes to provincial learning outcomes.
Spring report cards have been sent out and the FMPSD will also be surveying parents to get further feedback on the new system.
