A former Fort McMurray Oil Baron has been invited to the Calgary Flames development camp.
Brody Hoffman is one of five goalies at the camp, which starts Wednesday; he’s one of only 11 players who were given a try-out agreement.
Hoffman played for the Barons two seasons ago when the team went to Russia and later won the AJHL North title.
He then moved on to division one NCAA hockey with the University of Vermont, where he was named Hockey East rookie of the week three times and defensive player of the week three times.
