TransCanada says it’s re-started a natural gas pipeline north of Fort McMurray that sprung a leak on Sunday.
The company says it couldn’t inspect the line until yesterday afternoon because of how remote the area was and the amount of snow on the ground.
But it’s now completed repair work and testing.
Two pipe fittings had been damaged because of ice and frost movement.
The company installed a pipe plug to prevent it happening again.
The line supplied Syncrude’s Mildred Lake site.
