Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery at a Gregoire pizza place.
Wood Buffalo RCMP was called to the business just before 10 a.m. yesterday, after someone pulled out an edged weapon and fled with some cash. Several police cars rushed to the scene and RCMP used a police dog to try to sniff out the suspect.
“In this case the dog wasn’t able to pick up a track,” says Cpl. George Cameron. “Which could indicate did the bad guy get in a car, a vehicle and drive off. We’re not sure yet.”
Police describe the alleged robber as a 5’7 white man that’s about 150 pounds, wearing a black hoodie and dark gloves. Officers will be at surrounding business today for their investigation.
