    Does anyone have any experience with the Doulas here in town? Do you know if/what they charge to be present during a delivery or for a home consult? I’ve been trying to attend the free prenatal classes at the Hub during my pregnancy, but due to one circumstance or another…have been unable to make any classes. I’m due in a few weeks and would like to ask a few questions about VBACS. Feel free to leave a response here or send me a message to my inbox. Thanks!

    I use to work as a doula, and was a previous member of the doula assoc in town. Each doula has her own fees she charges, but I don’t believe any work for free. I think the average price is around $750.
    Initial consults are free.
    what do you want to know about vbacs? I may be able to help, I am a cbe (certified childbirth educator).
    if you are still seeking a doula you may be out of luck, generally they are booked several months in advance, but the best thing to do is to contact each individual doula. I know of 3 doulas that work here in Fort McMurray, I can share their contact information with you as well.
