Bus Lanes and Speed limit changes on Confed and Thickwood blvd

    Are you happy with the bus lanes? Do you think 50 kph is the correct permanent speed limit for Thickwood and Confed? Time to participate in the election. Ask the questions, get the answers and vote.

    Well, the bus lanes are a double edged sword topic. Having the bus lanes moves the buses to site a lot faster and enables better on time to site results. However on the other edge, the having one lane going north off of confed has made the issue of heading to work worse for those who have to drive. I have to leave an hour earlier to ensure I arrive on site now. I am sure that when the overpass will be complete it will help the flow. Now the next issue. Thats great that we can get everyone off the hills smoother. Only to hit the bottle neck caused by the north traffic lights at Taiganova. So that also has to be addressed. I know I am trying to be patient, but it is still frustrating.
