2 men are facing weapons-related charges after gun shots were reported downtown.
Police say the shots were reported last Monday around 1 AM from the Biggs Avenue neighbourhood, though they won’t specify exactly where.
Witnesses reported 2 men leaving the area on foot, and gave their desciptions to the RCMP.
After extensive patrols, the 2 men were arrested and 2 firearms were also seized.
27 year old Abel Assefa and 23 year old Bayan Irdris are also charged with resisting arrest and are scheduled to appear in court August 26th.
