$129,000 was raised at Tuesday’s Northern Lights Health Foundation’s Have a Heart Radiothon presented by ATB Financial.
NLHF Executive Director Susan Chaffey proudly announced the total at the end of the 13 hour radiothon on February 21.

Funds raised from the 2012 Have a Heart Radiothon are designed for the Baby Friendly Initiative. The Baby Friendly initiative brings together community agencies, health care professionals and interested community members to promote, protect and support breastfeeding in the municipality of Wood Buffalo.
Fort McMurray will be the first community in Alberta to achieve Baby Friendly status from the Breastfeeding Committee for Canada.
