Calgary West MLA Ken Hughes has stepped down as the Minister of Municipal Affairs.
Hughes says it’s because in the next few days, he’ll be releasing information on his bid for the PC leadership.
The PC party will elect a new leader on September 6th.
Hughes says he’ll stay on as an MLA, and that Lethbridge MLA Greg Weadick will take over as Minister.
