Fresh off an historic win, the Fort McMurray Knights rugby club is hoping for a big crowd for this weekend’s home opener.
It kicks off at 2pm Saturday at Westwood Field by the YMCA.
The Knights will take on defending Edmonton Rugby Union champions the Edmonton Norwesters.
Last weekend, the Knights took down the LA Crude in Leduc 22-8 for their first win over that club in 4 years.
The Knights are 1-2 on the season.
The club is also serving beer at the game to help draw a big turnout.
