Police are investigating an armed robbery in Plamondon.
Lac La Biche RCMP was called to the Pelican Hotel at about 11:30 Saturday morning.
Staff say a man entered the hotel with what looked like a black handgun, and he demanded cash.
The woman working handed over an undisclosed amount of money. She was the only one working at the time.
Police say the suspect then tied her to a chair in the office and put tape over her month. Reports say he stole the woman’s car, but it was found a short distance away.
He’s described as middle-aged, six-feet tall, with a medium to large build. The suspect was wearing blue coveralls, a white long-sleeved shirt, baseball hat and black gloves.
