The Legion’s recognizing Canada’s military mission to Afghanistan and commemorating these veterans during the “National Day of Honor.”
Friday, it’s inviting people to it’s building in Waterways, to honor the vets, the fallen, the wounded, and military families.
It’s opening at 10AM, televising the National Ceremony taking place in Ottawa at 10:30 including a moment of silence at 11:30.
Coffee and sandwiches will be served afterwards, and will be free to vets.
