Liberals release platform; call for higher taxes & free tuition

Alberta Liberals, gearing up for the spring election, are promising higher taxes on the rich and free tuition for all.
Leader Raj Sherman also says they will save taxpayers millions of dollars by streamlining government departments, demoting managers to the front lines, and getting rid of the government communication arm, the Public Affairs Bureau.
Sherman made the comments as his party unveiled its election platform in Edmonton.
He labelled the Tories “bums” and called them bedbugs that must be eradicated from the legislature.
