AHS says it’s investigating last year’s death of a local girl who doctors had said was just fine.
CBC reports that Karen and Calvin Clark are still waiting for answers as to why their 10-year-old daughter Erica died last January after hospitals in Fort McMurray and Edmonton released her.
After the network called AHS, the Clarks had a meeting set up with a specialist from the Stollery Children’s Hospital who oversaw their daughter’s case.
They say it’s the first time they’ve been contacted since she died.
