A 43-year old man has been arrested in Fort McMurray for sexual assaults committed in Toronto in the early 90s.
Wood Buffalo RCMP say Steven McGuire was arrested here and appeared in Toronto court on Sunday.
He’s accused of two sexual assaults with a weapon, which happened in 1993 and 94, as well as robbery, threats, and break and enter.
RCMP say they used DNA evidence to link him to the crimes.
Police also say they believe he may have had more victims beyond just these two.
McGuire is due back in court later this month.
