Mac Island releases expansion plans

MacDonald Island Park is looking for the public’s input for their new expansion project.

Working with ATB Architecture and 360 Architecture, the expansion will include a football stadium, space for not-for-profit organizations, and a community pavilion. There is also potential for further expansion, which will include a baseball stadium.

“We’ve been tremendously impressed with the architectural and construction management firms and their collective commitment to the needs of our community,” said Tim Reid, Chief Operating Officer at MacDonald Island Park. “We’re looking forward to sharing the current designs with the public and having a discussion about what lies ahead.”

Stakeholder and Public Consultations will take place over an 8-day span:

– Monday, April 16th, 2012 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm, Fireside Room
