An SUV and lamp post became well acquainted after an early morning crash.
Wood Buffalo RCMP says it was called to the scene a hit-and-run at 5:48 this morning on McLeod Street.
Mounties say the driver was a 38-year old Fort McMurray man who had two female passengers in the SUV with him, they all fled the scene.
The driver was later found and arrested, while one of the passengers was taken to hospital for minor injuries.
