Police and Occupational Health and Safety are investigating after a 40-year-old Suncor worker was found dead at work yesterday
OHS says the worker went to inspect a leak at around 5:00 am, and didn’t return to the office.
The man was found unresponsive in a pool of water, where paramedics later pronounced him dead.
Suncor says no other workers were involved in the incident, and that the worker’s family has been notified.
Grief counselling has been made available to employees and family members.
