Marriage on the decline in Wood Buffalo

Marriage is getting less popular in Wood Buffalo, according to the latest census.
Statistics Canada released more information this week, showing that married couples make up 66.3 percent of families in the municipality, down from 66.8 percent at the last census in 2006.
The percentage of families that are married with children dropped almost three percent, while the number that are married *without* children went up by almost the same amount.
Common-law families also went up by almost three percent.
