With one month left in the AJHL season, the Fort McMurray Oil Barons currently hold the final playoff spot in the North Division.
With 11 games remaining on their schedule, the MOB sit 3 points up on the Grand Prairie Storm with 4 games against each other down the stretch, beginning this week with back to back games Thursday and Friday in Grande Prairie.
The MOB need all the help they can get and with five remaining home games, they’ve launched a ‘Mini Pack’ ticket promotion for fans to help them with their playoff push.
The ‘Mini Pack’ includes all five remaining home games and is $55 for adults and $40 for youth and seniors.
The Barons play Drayton Valley Tuesday February 9th, Lloydminster Friday February 12th and Saturday February 13th and finish off the season against their rival the Grande Prairie Storm on March 4th and 5th.
The MOB will wear special pink commemorative jerseys in support of Bo Cooper Feb. 12 & 13 and will auction them off with funds going to the Bo Cooper Leukemia Treatment Fund.
Mini packs can be purchased at the Oil Barons Office or calling the office at 780-743-5509. The deadline to purchase is Tuesday, February 9.
