Another graduating Oil Baron is committed to play NCAA Division I hockey next season.

Adam Durkee will suit up for the Sacred Heart University Pioneers of the Atlantic Hockey Conference.

He’ll join former Oil Barons forward Ben Lake who just completed his senior year at the school.

Durkee from Nederland, Colorado joined the Oil Barons in 2012 and posted 25 points in 56 games in his rookie season.

He was the Oil Barons second highest scorer this year netting 18 goals and 29 assists in fifty-nine games played.

Durkee led the Oil Barons in scoring at the 2015 Crescent Point Energy Western Canada Cup, scoring five points in four games.

He was named to the Western Canada Cup’s All-Tournament team.

Over the three seasons Durkee spent in a MOB uniform he played in 205 regular and post-season games, he’d score 136 points over that span.
