125 workers at Shell could be shown the door, if a tweet on Twitter holds any weight.
The post made yesterday claims that Shell Albian will be making be cutting some jobs:
According to Shell’s Cam Yost, this is a continuation of a company restructuring announced earlier in the year.
Shell says that roughly 5-10 per cent of employees are being affected and that it takes time to work through the organization to make the changes it desires.
The tweet claims the layoffs start on July 21. However, Yost refuses to comment on exact numbers or timelines and will not provide a detailed interview to MyMcMurray.
