Oil Barons D Parayko not returning

Oil Barons defenceman Colton Parayko won’t be returning to the team for the 2012-13 season.
Parayko will start his NCAA career at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks instead of deferring for another year.
He had two years of junior eligibility left.
Parayko was co-winner of the team’s best defenceman award last season, and won a gold medal at the most recent World Junior A Challenge with Team Canada West.
