Opposition critics say that the rising death toll on Highway 63 is a result of misplaced priorities for the premier.
Shayne Saskiw of the Wildrose Party says he says that the provincial government is struggling to come up with the $1 billion needed to complete the twinning project for the road.
Kent Hehr from the Liberal party says that Premier Alison Redford appointing MLA Mike Allen to come up with plans to twin the road is just a stall tactic.
