Premier Jim Prentice will give an update on the 240 km of twinning happening to Highway 63 between Fort McMurray and Grassland.
The update will happen at 10 am, before Prentice is the Chamber of Commerce’s guest at its networking luncheon.
The last update given by the government on 63 was that it was still on track to finish by 2016, and be 70% complete by next fall.
Joining him for the announcement will be MLA Don Scott, Syncrude Vice President Kara Flynn, and Coalition for a Safer Highway 63 and 881 Executive Director Debbie Hammond.
