The federal and provincial governments say they’ll cooperate more to try and make the oil sands greener.
Energy minister Joe Oliver and premier Alison Redford signed a memorandum of understanding today that they say will lead to new and improved technologies.
They say the MOU will mean collaboration on sustainable oil sands use involving industry, academia, and other research organizations.
