The Public School District is looking forward to the building of a new school in the Eagle Ridge neighbourhood, especially with the partnership with the Catholic district and the municipality to develop the land.
Superintendent Dennis Parsons says that the partnership will benefit the school children and the community.
The plan is to have each board build a school in Eagle Ridge on the same parcel of land, while the municipality chips in with a community recreation centre.
