RCMP arrest 2 men in robbery incident

On November 10, 2011, at approximately 2:45 pm, Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a complaint of an armed robbery that occurred in front of the Safeway in the Thickwood area. The victim, a 20 year-old male, alleged that two males produced a knife, assaulted him and stole his laptop. Two 22 year-old males, from the Fort McMurray area, have been identified as the suspects. Police located and arrested Dustin Barrett and Albert Laboucan a short while later. Both accused are facing several charges including: Robbery, Assault with a Weapon as well as Breach of Conditions. The accused were both remanded into custody until their court appearance on November 14, 2011. No injuries have been reported as a result of this incident.
