RCMP investigate parking lot assault

Wood Buffalo RCMP are investigating an assault in the Walmart parking lot on Sunday afternoon.
It happened at about 2:30 when a store employee saw a security guard in what police call a physical altercation with a man.
The man ran away when the employee approached, but as he returned to the store, a car pulled up, and the suspect and two other men attacked the employee before driving away.
The suspect was a younger man, 150 to 170 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes, freckled arms, wearing a t-shirt and shorts, and a clean late-model burgundy car.
