On January 15, 2012, between 2:30 and 3:30 am a taxi driver was robbed by two males who had initially solicited a fare as customers. The victim had picked up the suspects from the Timberlea Esso on Millenium Drive and drove them to the vicinity of Archibald Close before they brandished knives and demanded items of value.

The suspects stole approximately $300 and a cell phone before they fled the scene on foot towards St. Martha’s School.

RCMP are looking to identify the suspects. Both are described as white males, one was wearing black and red checkered pajama pants and a grey hoodie. There were no physical injuries reported as a result of this incident.
