Wood Buffalo RCMP said Thursday afternoon that despite social media reports of a kidnapping an incident involving a 2 year old girl was a custody dispute, not a criminal case.
The child is safe and Corporal George Cameron said there is no concern for her safety or for the public.
RCMP officers are working with the family.
