Southbound Highway 63 will be down to one lane at the Syncrude gate outside rush hour as of Wednesday.
The province says it’s removing and installing new guardrails between the Syncrude main entrance and the Giants of Mining exhibit.
The work will happen along one and half kilometres of the highway, about 40 kilometres north of town.
But both lanes will be open from 5 to 8 AM and 3:30 to 9 PM.
The speed limit will be 60 when the construction is going on.
