Registration for the 2016 MS Walk in Fort McMurray is now open.
The Jayman BUILT MS Walk – Fort McMurray will be held on Saturday May. 28, with a location still to be determined.
“This year for the walk, our hope is to have innovative programs and events leading up to it to ensure our fundraising and participation is where it needs to be to support the community,” said Cait Evans, Regional Coordinator, MS Society of Canada in a press release. “We are in the planning stages right now for the annual MS Pub Nights and other fundraising activities, as well, we are very excited about the Recruitment Team for the walk this year.”
A new wrinkle this year includes a ‘Recruitment Team’ as the MS Society is seeking five to ten volunteers to help recruit new participants as well as retain existing ones.
The team should be in place by mid-February.
