Residents are invited to offer their feedback on how to improve the Single-Use Shopping Bag Bylaw and how to better support shoppers in our community, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo announced today.
Residents aged 15 years and older are encouraged to complete an online survey at recycle-more.ca. The survey is expected to take about 10 minutes to complete, and is available until Wednesday, January 11.
The Municipality asked citizens, businesses and retail stores earlier in 2011 to comment on how the Single-Use Shopping Bag Bylaw had impacted them since it was implemented in September 2010.
Now, the Municipality is looking for feedback on ideas under consideration to improve the bylaw.
All residents participating in the survey will be eligible to enter a randomly selected prize draw for a $250 Walmart gift certificate.
